Together, We Build a New Kind of Community!

At Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County, we believe that home is just the beginning. It’s where opportunity grows, where dreams are nurtured, and where stability takes root. Now, we’re reimagining what home can look like, and what it can mean with The Hudson: the first-ever pocket neighborhood in Sumner County.

This thoughtfully designed six-home community represents a new model for affordable housing, one that prioritizes connection, resilience, and joy. Centered around a shared, vehicle-free green space, The Hudson invites neighbors to slow down, engage, and support one another. From cozy one-bedroom cottages to family-ready three-bedroom homes, it’s a reimagined approach to building community, rooted in dignity, beauty, and belonging.

Slated for completion in 2027, The Hudson is more than a housing project. It’s a bold step forward in how we serve the diverse needs of working families, seniors, and individuals across Sumner County.

But we can’t build it alone.

Your support helps lay each foundation, raise every wall, and plant seeds of hope in the heart of our community. When you give to The Hudson, you’re not just donating, you’re helping reimagine what’s possible. You’re creating space for parents to tuck their kids in at night, for seniors to age safely in place, and for neighbors to become lifelong friends.

Because when we build together, we build more than homes. We build stronger communities and a brighter future—one front porch at a time.

Join us. Together, we build opportunity. Together, we build joy.
