Together, We Build a New Kind of Community!
At Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County, we believe that home is just the beginning. It's where opportunity grows, where dreams are nurtured, and where stability takes root. Now, we’re building something entirely new to amplify that impact: the first-ever pocket neighborhood in Sumner County, a six-home community designed to foster connection, resilience, and joy.
This innovative neighborhood will be more than a cluster of houses. It will be a community, built around a shared, vehicle-free green space that encourages play, conversation, and neighborly support. From cozy one-bedroom cottages to family-ready three-bedroom homes, this project is a thoughtful response to the diverse housing needs of our community.
Slated for completion in 2027, this pocket neighborhood marks a bold step forward in how we think about affordable housing, where collaboration, design, and dignity come together to create not just shelter, but true belonging.
But we can’t build it alone.
Your support helps lay each foundation, raise every wall, and plant seeds of hope in the heart of our county. When you give to this project, you become a part of something transformative. You help create space for parents to tuck their kids in at night, for seniors to age safely in place, and for neighbors to become lifelong friends.
Because when we build together, we build more than homes. We build stronger communities, and a brighter future—one front porch at a time.
Join us. Together, we build opportunity. Together, we build joy.
